Greg Hansch, LMSW, Interim Executive Director & Public Policy Director
Greg Hansch serves as Interim Executive Director and Public Policy Director of NAMI Texas. He originally joined NAMI Texas in 2012. He is a Licensed Masters-Level Social Worker and a family member of a person with serious mental illness. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Nonprofit and Public Management from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. Greg is a NAMI SMARTS for Advocacy State Trainer. He loves being a NAMI member and serving on the NAMI Texas staff. In his spare time, he is known to enjoy live music, the driving range, and podcasts.
Patti Haynes, Program Director
Patti Haynes has been involved with NAMI since 1999 when she began seeking help for her son when he was an adolescent. She has served on the NAMI Texas Board of Directors and the NAMI Dallas Board of Directors (now NAMI North Texas) along with several committees that support children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. Patti is a NAMI Basics Teacher, NAMI Basics State trainer and a NAMI Basics National Trainer. Patti has a passion for supporting NAMI Affiliates, not only when it comes to education, but also keeping them alive and strong.
Alissa Sughrue, MSSW, Policy Coordinator
Rebecca Koval, Office Manager
Rebecca Koval joined the NAMI Texas team in 2016. She has a B.A. in Peace Studies from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Rebecca’s responsibilities include website management, providing affiliate support, managing the NAMI Texas donor database as well as providing mental health and community resources to individuals, families and professionals throughout Texas. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys reselling vintage 60’s clothing, teaching music to youth in foster care, and singing.
